Our Black Breastfeeding Week Photoshoot was absolutely magical!! As one mom recalled “I felt like a goddess in the midst of other beautiful goddesses.” We hosted the session at McDaniel Farm Park. Photographing these mommas for Black Breastfeeding Week provided me a sense of community, joy and optimism that I have often lacked in my breastfeeding journey. If you see a black mom nursing, offer her encouragement! Tell her how amazing and strong she is. I can guarantee that she needs to hear it.
